About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Come hear PWR sound man extraordinaire Ed Carine and his band Geezer play at Van Vleck House and Gardens this Saturday, May 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. The show is a benefit for The Montclair Baseball and Softball Club.

Cost for this family friendly event is $10 per adult. Besides great music, the event will also feature old-fashioned backyard games, a pitching clinic with the U12 baseball boys, a plant sale, plenty of food, basket raffles, and a 50/50 raffle.

Van Vleck House and Gardens is located at 21 Van Vleck Street, Montclair. The event goes on rain or shine.
