About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Parents Who Rock performers will will provide live music at The Taste of Montclair opening event this evening. The duo of Carrie Cantor and Malcolm Marsden, Michael Reitman, and another duo, Meg Beattie and Michael Williams, will entertain the crowd.

The Taste of Montclair 2012 kicks off Restaurant Week Montclair and will be held on Monday March 19, 2012 from 5:30-9pm at The Grove, 601
Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove.

The event is sponsored by The Rotary Club to benefit The Human Needs
Pantry, Toni's Kitchen and The Salvation Army.

The performers will rotate sets over the course of the evening.
