Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Richard Barone will be rocking @theArtStudio this Saturday, March 10. Former front man of Hoboken's late great Bongos, Barone will be doing a solo acoustic show featuring his past hits and current, soon-to-be hits). Former Bongo James Mastro will be joining Barone for a special guest appearance—that's half the Bongos! The jangle starts at 8, doors open at 7:30.
