Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Hamstrung Performs at Jersey City Benefit for St. Jude's Children's Hospital

Hamstrung will be performing at a benefit for St. Jude's Children's Hospital Saturday, May 1st. The show, at O' Hara's Downtown Bar and Grill, 172 1st Street (1st and Marin) in Jersey City, is set for 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. There's no cover charge, and free parking. O' Hara's is located a block down from the Grove Street Path Station. An original band, the Holy Goats, will be alternating sets with Hamstrung. Visit Hamstrung's myspace page to check out the band.
