Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Gene Lewin Quartet Performs at A Gatsby Affair May 7

PWR's Gene Lewin Quartet will be performing at "A Gatsby Affair: A Roaring 20’s Cocktail Party," a fundraiser sponsored by The Junior League of Montclair-Newark
benefiting at-risk children.

The event, a jazzy cocktail party in the roaring '20s style, is set for Friday May 7 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at the Montclair Women's Cub, 200 Cooper Avenue in Montclair. It will feature a light supper, signature cocktails, scotch tasting, cigars and croquet. Tickets are $65, $85 and $100.
