Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Hamstrung Show In Jersey City to Benefit Cancer Support Group

Parents Who Rock's Hamstrung will be performing with the David Easton Band in a benefit to raise money for the Community Cancer Support Group of Bayonne. The show will take place Friday, February 19, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m at O'Hara's Downtown Bar and Grill, 172 1st Street (1st & Marin) in Jersey City. There is no cover charge, but a percentage of the bar's revenue will be given to the cancer support group. Check out Hamstrung's Myspace page here.
