Bands Sign On for PWR Backyarder, Saturday, September 12

The list of performers is growing for Parents Who Rock's annual September outdoor "backyarder" show. The Mama Doni Band, TNT Ramblers, Aviva Patz, Sock Monster, Peri Smilow, Joanne Feinman, George Greenfield, El Kabong!, Ellen Paretti, Julian Keenan, Alisa Harmon, Bud Mishkin, Jessica Henry, Zara Phillips, Rob Pignatello, and Jessica Owen have all signed on to play.

The event is set for Saturday, September 12, noon to 6 p.m., or raindate, Sunday, September 13, from noon to 6, at 72 High Street, Montclair--the corner of Cedar and High Streets.

There will be activities for kids including face painting from Aunt Jean's Toys and Treats. and Kundalini yoga for kids by Akulsukh Singh. In addition, Alicia's Hair Salon will be on hand to give kids "Rock Star Hair Do's" with washable hair color sprays. Other businesses offering kids' activities or other products/services include Sapienza Couture, If Kids Could Vote T-shirts, and Elevation Burger.  Outpost In the Burbs will also be represented. 

Plan on bringing a blanket, bringing some snacks, bringing the kids and hearing some great music!
