About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. PWR's Backyarder Set for Sunday, Sept. 21st

Mark your calendars now for Parents Who Rock's next backyard event: Sunday, Sept. 21st!

Featuring live music from local combos and performers, the event will run from noon to 3 pm in the backyard at the corner of Cedar and High Streets, across from Nishuane School.

Bring a blanket, a picnic spread, and spend the afternoon listening to your talented neighbors perform!

There is no rain date for the event this year.
