Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Save the Date—October 5th—for PWR's 2024 Backyarder

It's time for this year's annual Parents Who Rock backyard event—a fun afternoon filled with music from some of Montclair's best performers and bands.

Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 5th, from 12 to 3 pm. Rain date is Sunday, Oct. 6th.

The backyarder takes place at the corner of Cedar and High Streets.

All donations collected will go to a charitable organization that is still to be determined.
