MAM Lawn Party Features 20 PWR Performers This Saturday, Sept. 10

Come on out to the Montclair Art Museum’s Lawn Party, featuring live music by by 20 Parents Who Rock bands and performers, this Saturday, Sept. 10, from noon to 5 p.m.

The event is free, though a suggested admission price will help support the MAM Art Truck artist residency programs at Side Door Montclair after-school locations.

Besides listening to great local music, people can celebrate the exhibitions "do it" and "Janet Taylor Pickett: The Matisse Series" at this day-long festival,

Attendees can:

* Experience the premiere of MAM's do it performances of Michelangelo Pistoletto's Sculpture for Strolling and Joan Jonas' Instruction;

* Learn and create with art activities with esteemed MAM educators Dan Fenelon and Liz Seaton;

* Find musical talents in the Instrument “Petting Zoo” with School of Rock;

* Enjoy family yoga with Jacquie Ruderman;

* Get faces painted by Fancy Faces Facepainting and Painted Faces & Other Places;

* Grab a bite from fabulous food vendors including Cheezen Food Truck, Java Love Coffee Roasting Co., Lost Brother's Pizza Truck, Olive That & More, The Spot, and Izzy & Tallulah.
