PWR Plays for 3 Great Causes: Come On Out This Weekend for Relay for Life, the Montclair Schools and Nishuane's May Fair!
Come out this weekend and listen to great music while supporting wonderful causes! Parents Who Rock Bands will be performing at three events that benefit the Montclair Public Schools, Nishuane School and the American Cancer Society.
MAY FAIR
Nishuane School, Cedar St. will be hosting it's Mayfair Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Parents Who Rock will be there—Compas will be playing at 1 p.m. and Julian Keenan will perform at 1:45 p.m. The event will feature food and treats, rides, games and arts and crafts, and will benenfit the Nishuane PTA.
STREET FAIR AND TOAST
On Saturday, May 21, several bands and performers will be playing at a Toast to the Teachers street festival on Church Street in Montclair to celebrate May in Montclair and to benefit the town public schools through the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE).
The musical lineup is:

3-3:40 p.m. Matt Davis and the Thousand Pities

RELAY FOR LIFE
Later that evening, and not too far away, the No Rehearsals, which features PWR founder Alma Schneider on vocals, wlll be playing at Relay For Life at 8 p.m. Saturday night on the track at Brookdale Park.
Relay for Life is a national event in which teams get together to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The local event runs from 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21 until 7 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Brookdale Park. The event features a survivors' lap, where cancer survivors are invited to circle the track and recognize their victory in the fight against cancer; a luminaria ceremony, in which those those whose lives have been touched by cancer are remembered and honored; and a fight back ceremony, where people make personal commitments to fight back against the disease. Please make a donation to a team and come out and support the great cause!
