Parents Who Rock: Save the Dates! Great PWR Shows Coming Up This Spring!

About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Mark you calendars now! Parents Who Rock has several great events coming up this spring.

Saturday, May 21: Come out to support the Montclair Schools at a Toast to the Teachers on Church Street in Montclair, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Performing live will be musicians from the School of Rock, as well as Matt Davis, John Finegan, Flashy Kaboodle, Juicebox, Sock Monster, and Ellen Paretti.

Saturday, May 21: Later that day, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., PWR bands will be performing at Relay for Life at Brookdale Park, in Montclair. Bands will be announced shortly.

Saturday, June 11: Come out for a Spanish-themed cocktail party featuring great music and tapas provided by Xunta Catering. The event, from 6 to 9 p.m., will benefit Link Community School, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Newark, and Lotus Yoga in Action. Performers, and venue, will be announced shortly.
