PWR Performance Wraps Up Little Kids Rock Fundraising Drive

Seven Parents Who Rock bands and performers will be playing at a backyard houseparty, the final show to raise money to fund the work of Little Kids Rock in the Montclair public schools. The fundraiser is set for Saturday, June 6, at 72 High Street, Montclair. The lineup is:

2:00 pm Mymindmocean
2:30 Geezer
3:00 Brandt Family
3:30 Sock Monster
4:00 Carrie Cantor
4:30 March to the Sea
5:00 Eugene Chrysler Band

Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon of music, from 2 to 5:30 pm. Suggested donation is $15 per family.

More Music in May in Montclair
Parents Who Rock will close out the month of May with two more performances. On Saturday, May 30, PWR performers Alisa Harmon and Michael DeLeeuw will be on hand for the opening ceremony for the All Children’s Playground at Edgemont Park. Parents Who Rock was one of the organizations that helped raised the money needed to build the playground. The event will run from 1 to 3 pm. There will be a milk and cookies theme and the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence will be providing the cookies. Bring the whole family.

Also that day, Parents Who Rock bands will be performing between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at the Nishuane School Mayfair. Here's the lineup:

1:00 Hamstrung

Mayfair, sponsored by the Nishuane School PTA, is Nishuane’s annual spring festival. It runs from 11 am to 4 pm, and will feature an excellent and varied assortment of foods, crafts, games and performances, as well as many other fun activities, including rides, a book booth, t-shirt booth and more. Tickets are $10 per child, with adults and children under two free.
