Parents Who Rock: More Rocking at Uptown Tonight

About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Parent's Who Rock's Alisa Harmon will be performing with Rickman, tonight, Wednesday, Feb. 4, for diners at Uptown Bistro to help raise money for Little Kids Rock. Come to Uptown, 596 Valley Road, Montclair, for dinner between 5:30 and 7 p.m. for half-price children's meals and live music. Uptown will also offer two prix fixe menus. The restaurant owner will donate 5% of proceeds to Little Kids Rock, which is working with PWR to raise $50,000 to help fund music education in the Montclair public schools. In addition, PWR will also be selling tickets for the Rockin' for Kids show on February 22; They're $10. Reservations are recommended. Call 973-744-0915.
