About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Stacia has been singing and writing music since she was a young girl growing up in rural Wisconsin. A graduate degree in music from Washington University in St. Louis and numerous weekend trips to Nashville to record with her then band Mavis ultimately led her to NYC. She has played in and around the NYC/NJ area and is thrilled to be part of Parents Who Rock. Anxious to combine her music and passion for advocacy Stacia is currently working on a solo album while enrolled in the NYU Graduate School of Social Work. She lives in Montclair with her husband and two amazing kids.
