About PWR

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Calling all Parents Who Rock-ers—sign ups are now officially open for PWR'S annual tribute show. The theme this year is famous duets. This means you can play with another person or play with yourself!

This year's show is slated for Friday, February 29th at 7 p.m. at Bnai Keshet Synagogue, 99 South Fullerton Ave., Montclair.

This year, the show will benefit First Friends of New Jersey and New York, which is dedicated to upholding the inherent dignity and humanity of detained immigrants and asylum seekers. The organization promotes compassion and hope through volunteer visitation, resettlement assistance and advocacy.
