Jazz Musicians Invited to Next Community Monthly Jazz Jam Saturday, May 17

Doug Andrews (bass), a parent who rocks and and also plays jazz, has passed on the date for the next next Community Monthly Jazz Jam session at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair at 67 Church St. in Montclair—Saturday, May 17, from 7 to 11 pm. All interested musicians are invited!

In this supportive, non-competitive environment, everyone gets an opportunity to play and several sessions may be going on. If you want to play or sing a tune that’s not in the Real Book, please bring copies of the music in the key you want to do it in. Original charts welcome. A $5 donation is requested (for the space and for refreshments). You can drop by at any point during the evening, for as long or as little as you like. Get more information here.
