Parents Who Rock: Big Mamou Summer Tour Heats Up

Parents Who Rock is a non-profit association of musicians and others based in Montclair, NJ, who volunteer their time and talents onstage and behind the scenes to raise money for non-for-profit organizations throughout the community. Since 2005, fundraising events featuring PWR artists and other volunteers, working with the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence (MFEE), have netted more then $200,000 for such organizations and causes as the All-Children’s Playground, Mountainside Hospital Breast Cancer Education Center, the Montclair Rape Crisis Center, and more. Big Mamou is taking it's show on the road and performing near you soon!

The band will be bringing its mix of Cajun, zydeco and cosmic country to local clubs and festivals over the next month.

Saturday, June 7, they'll be taking the stage at Maplewoodstock at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, July 11, they'll be at the Maplewood Pool at 6 p.m. Playing, not swimming. Or maybe they'll do that after they play.

And then July 14 they'll wind up at Tierney's Tavern. 136 Valley Road, in Montclair.
